From Chaos to Order: The Origin

Circa 2022 San Diego, CA

If you had told me years ago that I would be helping homeschool parents find order and confidence in their journey, I’m not sure I would have believed you. But looking back, every challenge, every pivot, and every season of life has led me here.

Where It All Began

My background is rooted in education—I earned my Masters and teaching credential in California (2009) and worked in special education, where I developed a deep understanding of how children learn differently. Later, fostering 10 toddlers opened my eyes to behavior challenges and the importance of structure, patience, and adaptability. Raising my own children while navigating both fostering and homeschooling only deepened this passion.

The Homeschool Adventure

When years of prayer led to deciding to stay home and school our children from there, I was excited and anxious. With individualized education in my background, I was cautiously ready to take on this whole new challenge. Over the years, I have experimented with countless curriculums, balancing structured learning with the flexibility that homeschooling allows. I discovered what worked, what didn’t, and how to tailor education to meet my kids' needs—all while managing the realities of life, including mental health challenges in our home.

The Birth of Chaos 2 Order

As I refined my homeschool methods, friends started reaching out for advice. They wanted to know how I handled behavior challenges, chose curriculums, or implemented systems to make learning smoother. I realized that so many parents, especially those new to homeschooling, felt overwhelmed. That’s when I knew I wanted to create something bigger—a resource for parents who need practical, real-world solutions.

Thus, Chaos 2 Order: Homeschool Solutions was born. This isn’t just about picking the right curriculum—it’s about helping parents feel empowered, giving them tools to bring structure into their homeschool while keeping the joy of learning alive.

What’s Next?

Now, through my website, I’m sharing the curriculums I’ve used, the books that have shaped my homeschooling philosophy, and the insights I’ve gained from years of experience. My goal is simple: to help families transition from feeling overwhelmed to an orderly peace.

Homeschooling isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. And I’m here to walk that journey with you.

I’d love to hear from you! What’s your biggest homeschooling challenge? Drop a comment below or reach out—I’m here to help.
